Please join me on Monday, June 3, 2024, for a golf outing to support the incredible work at Abilis. For more than 70 years Abilis has been providing state-of-the art services for the special needs community in Fairfield Country and their expansion further highlights the importance of the work they do.
As many of you know, my daughter Alison transitioned to Abilis in 2017 from High School. This was a very difficult decision that our family had to face. Who will we trust to care for our daughter? With so many providers in the state, we are so happy we chose to work with Abilis. Alison has a beautiful home with housemates she enjoys, caring staff that support her and activities each day that provide her with a full and meaningful life.
The funds raised from golf sponsorships, foursomes, and individual golfers will benefit the Sunshine Fund. All day-of funds raised through purchases at our silent auction, Abilis Giving Garden, putting contest, mulligans and other in-event purchases will benefit Recreational Activities at Abilis.
The Sunshine Fund provides the extra recognition for the dedicated staff who care for our program participants and our Recreational Activities program offers friendship and fun to ensure the quality of life for every individual at Abilis. Both programs are not funded by the state which is why your participation is so important to the success of this golf outing.
